MONA Fashion Company presented its new Spring-Summer 2012 collection at the Business
Centre USCE. In a radiant atmosphere, MONA designers Ana Leković, Kristina Gajić, Marina
Korać and Ksenija Marković evoked spring and delighted all the present with their designs in
leather, twill and linen.

This season too, Mona designer team suggests leather jackets of simplified cut with a small or no
collar, of sport, romantic or military style. For the perfect comfort and a glamorous look, there is
the women and men collection in twill and linen. The collection is accompanied by leather bags
whose style matches the marine and safari aesthetics that will dominate this spring and summer.

Ksenija Marković, inspired by the depths of sea and Amphora, being in fact also the name of
her collection, conjured up the beauty of a female body with her beautiful dresses, corsets and
leather jackets, as well as amphora shaped bags.

Ana Leković found deliverance from summer heats in the OASIS of designs made from leather,
linen and twill in oasis and ice-cream colours. Glamorous and refined designs are combined with
leather bags imparting special freshness to this safari aesthetics.

Sea depths have been inspiration for Kristina Gajić’s collection named the “Submarine”.
Unavoidable navy- white stripes, various cuts, and warm sun yellow colours are the main feature
of this collection which brings in freshness and optimism.

The men’s part of all the collections perfectly matching the attractive women’s designs in linen
and twill was created by Marina Korać, a designer of MONA Fashion Company. Fashion stroll
through all three collections has presented a modern man who does know what he wants and
who, being at the same time both urban and elegant, wants to feel comfortable in his clothes at
any time of day.

The applause of numerous guests from the cultural and public life of the metropolis confirmed
that everyone could hardly wait to replace winter coats with MONA leather jackets, marine chic
and safari style.

“MONA” Fashion Company received a prestigious award “BEST OF SERBIA” for 2011.

For eight years now the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management;
Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business daily paper “Privredni pregled” have
been organizing the action for selection of best brands with aim to promote the values of local
economy and market-oriented thinking which should prompt the change in consumers awareness
of giving the priority to local products.

Holding the title of the best brand is a great honour for MONA, but it is also a specific
recognition extended to the most impoverished industrial branch – leather and textile industry
which employs the largest number of female workforce.

Dušan Petrović, minister of agriculture, trade, forestry and water management who presented the
statue “Best of Serbia” to MONA Managing Director – Đorđe Momirović, pointed out that even

in the year of hard economic environment, MONA succeeded to demonstrate how any obstacles
can be surmounted with good organisation, planning and energy management.

Miloš Bugarin and Dušan Petrović concluded that they would do their best to strengthen the
branding impulse in our country in the following year and make the action “Best of Serbia”
become a national and state project with even higher credibility.

On Friday, April 15, 2011, fashion house “Mona” from Belgrade presented itself for the second time at the “Belarus Fashion Week” with its Spring-Summer collections. The event was attended by the ambassadors of Italy, Japan, China, Czech Republic, and Iran, numerous representatives of the Belarus cultural and public life, and print and electronic media journalists.

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Belarus also gave support to the Mona’s show, and the Belarus fashion audience enjoyed the Mona’s fashion and supported beautiful Belarusian models with numerous applauses.

Collections: “Ever-fashionable”, “Ana and Seamen” and “Butterfly Effect” designed by Ana Lekovic, Kristina Gajic, Marina Korac, and Ksenija Markovic were observed with attention and received frequent applauses.

Women leather jackets decorated with laser-cut leather lace in dark and pastel colors, together with leather handbags of the same style, attracted a special attention. Men could see great number of leather jackets from those classic ones, over aviator jackets to the motorcycle ones, or those stitched accentuating the strength and power of a man.

Both male and female part of the audience was excited about the cheerful and practical marine inspired collection, “Ana and Seamen”, because it contained something for everyone, both for work and vacation. Suit jackets, trousers, linen skirts and dresses, in red, blue and white, accompanied by shirts, dresses, dark blue and white striped knit overalls decorated with details such as embroidered anchor or helm, complete the fashion trend for this spring and summer.

The Belarusian audience was not indifferent to luxurious, romantic silk dresses. Beautiful models in the dresses with pastel, floral or abstract patterns, were equal to those walking on Paris and Milan catwalks.

Although this was just the second “Belarus Fashion Week”, the organizers seemed well coordinated, they were professional and good hosts to the Serbian fashion house Mona, which has two shops in malls in Minsk. Participation at this fashion week represents just one additional activity that Mona takes to improve the sale of its goods in this market, and thus increase the sale of its goods in foreign markets.

Fashion company MONA presented the spring-summer 2011 collection at the Progres gallery before numerous representatives of the media and high officials from the public and cultural life of the capital.

The MONA’s designing team headed by Ana Leković, Kristina Gajić, Marina Korać and Ksenija Marković overwhelmed all the visitors with their models that evoked the spirit of spring.

The collection “Intransient…“ consisting of Chanel jackets in combination with cigarette skirts and pants made of light suit material in dark blue and black color, enriched with beige trimming and tapes, provide a refined look in everyday business attire, but also on festive occasions. An extremely feminine line of bags made of dark blue and black leather with beige trim accompanies the daily combination of this part of the spring-summer 2011 collection.

The collection “Ana and the Sailors” evoked true ovations by the public. The marine style dominates the collection made of linen, primarily in dark blue, red and white colors, supplemented by the unavoidable blue-white stripes.

Leather is an imperative on the world fashion stage this season as well. The models of MONA’s leather jackets for ladies are pronouncedly feminine with details in leather lace, which give the classic models a romantic appearance. The leather jackets for men with stitches that emphasize the power and strength of men, are intended for the young and the population that feels young.
Leather jackets and coats combine ideally with dresses made of silk chiffon in the style of the fifties, in joyful tones, floral or abstract designs, with frills, ruffles, interesting neckline and cuts.
